Examiner.com names Lilmissdottie The Detroit Hip Hop Examiner
Detroit, MI, March 16, 2009: Examiner.com has named, Djenaba Marzett aka Lilmissdottie: theWordStylist, the Detroit Hip Hop Examiner. Examiners write articles about their topic of expertise. Not to be confused with a blog, the examiner.com will feature articles concerning all things hip hop in Detroit and its surrounding communities.
When examiner.com asked Lilmissdottie what makes her qualified to be the Detroit Hip Hop Examiner, she replied, “If I put my mind to anything, I can do it. Detroit needs an ambassador like me. I want to take ‘I put on for my city’ to another level. When I say it, people will know I really mean it.”
Once it became official, Lilmissdottie could not wait to celebrate the honor of being the Detroit Hip Hop Examiner among her peers. “I texted about 8 people at first. They were the first ones to know. Then I made an announcement at the Mr. CliffNote Show to the studio audience. Now can someone throw a party for me?” she said jokingly.
Lilmissdottie’s reputation among her peers has placed her in the higher echelon of Detroit’s Hip Hop royalty because she is passionate about the music, about lyricism, about the artists, and about the city of Detroit. In an industry that is male-dominant, she has networked her way into the game as a young lady with integrity, becoming an integral part of the city’s hottest hip hop happenings.
